Twin Lake North “Sparkles” into July
Although June has come to an end, our community celebrated Father’s Day in style. Our Fathers were treated like royalty, enjoying a meal fit for the kings they are. The menu featured BBQ’d chicken, sweet buttery corn on the cob, grilled baked beans, pecan pie tarts, Louisiana crunch cake, and refreshing root beer or cream soda served in frosty mugs. They were pampered and had a great time mingling with each other.
Then one of our LNRVM residents was treated to a special baking event, where her family and she were supplied with all the special items to make homemade chocolate chip cookies in the clubhouse.
But that’s not all! Our monthly DIY event was a hit. Our crafty residents got creative and made custom throw pillows, adding a special touch to their TLN homes.
July Kicks off with Patriotic Spirit! As we entered July, it was time to celebrate The USA’s birthday month. We did that with a red, white, and blue sweet treat on July 3rd in the clubhouse. And of course, our monthly DIY event continues- this time, we’ll be decoupaging planters, so get your juices flowing and create!
Independence Day wasn’t complete without fireworks and delicious food, at CHS Field the Monster Food Truck and Fireworks Supershow Celebration was held. A great time was had by all. http://chsfield.com/contact-us
