Colorful Time of the Year at Summit Oaks
October is here and we are still getting days of 80-degree weather its almost hard to think of fall but the leaves on the trees sure are turning bright pretty colors. So, let’s get in the fall spirit and join in on all the activities Summit Oaks has to offer in October. Some of the residents went to Aamodt’s Apple Orchard and Pine Tree in White Bear Lake and were able to see some of the trees that had turn colors already.
Jumping ahead Summit Oaks is bringing back Summit Oaks Craft & Bake Boutique Saturday, November 9th from 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are looking for crafters or any other vendors that would be interested in joining in. Call Summit Oaks at 763-421-3152 to get all the details. In the past we had great success.
A good place to go around town is Downtown Anoka, a premiere event and shopping destination. They have some of the most unique shops that the Twin Cities metro area has to offer. A community of small business owners are here to serve you, offering antique shops, clothing and gift boutiques, furniture, an ice cream shop, dessert cafe, wine bar, bars, bookstore and restaurants. Anoka is the Halloween capital of the world from 1920 to current. The Grand Day Parade in Anoka is Saturday, October 26th at 1:00pm located on main street Anoka.
