Summit Oaks Heats December up!
Let’s heat up the month with some warm fun activities and charity events. The cold is here to stay! Besides the Angel Program Summit Oaks participated in we are also holding a Shoe Away hunger and Toys for Joy.
Shoe Away Hunger is a program that people can donate their gently used shoes. By doing so you will help not only feed those in need but help those that can’t afford shoes. Every pair is cleaned and sold for $5.00 adults and $2.00 for Children. The money then goes to purchase food for those in need.
Toys for Joy is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Program that was founded in 1986 by the North Metro Realtor Association. The Toys for Joy program assist families in the Anoka County area that are in need during the holiday season. They assist those families that may otherwise be unable to provide gifts and meals to their children. Summit Oaks has a barrel for the resident to put the toys in that they purchased.
At the end of the month December 31st a New Years Eve Party with games, appetizers, and prizes. We here at Summit Oaks would like to wish everyone Happy Holiday and New Year!
