Summit Oaks Loves to Give Back
Summit Oaks residents love this time of year they are very generous and give to family, Friends and neighbors. This Year the residents are donating to DAV, Toys for Joy, and Shoe away hunger. We had some residents that took a box, bin and cart, decorated them with the holiday spirit in mind for residents, families and friends to put their donations in.
DAV provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families in positive, life changing ways. They take gentle used and new clothing, household items.
Shoe away Hunger offers affordable quality footwear for those in need. This helps to raise money to feed over 7500 people each month through their food programs and services.
Toys for Joy is a program that assist families in Anoka County area that are in need during the holiday season. They help these families with gifts and meals to their children.
