At Lang Nelson, We Aim to Spoil!
Happy June, with it, Lang Nelson celebrates its 9Th Lang Nelson Resident Visit Month, also known to many as LNRVM.
For many of us June is the best time of the year. It signifies longer days, warmer weather, cabin life, swimming, fishing, camping, no school, and more time to be with our friends and family. For Lang Nelson Staff, it also means we get the opportunity to meet with our very important residents, to learn what is important to them and their community, and who they enjoy spending their time with both in and outside each of our communities. This allows us to tailor each community to each resident, and attempt to spoil them with exactly what they are most interested in.
Although resident visits take place each month, and as new residents join a community, June is special. Many attempt to accomplish more visits in June then any other month. June is also filled with celebrations, parties, added scheduled events, donuts days, lunches, and other special recognitions of the residents and their VIPS.
This time, meeting with and engaging our residents is cherished, and is often referred to as “the best part of the job”.
