Legacy Ida Marie “Bakes” in the Holidays

As we move on to Novembers Calendar for exciting events in partnership up with our Activities Department, we will start by bringing together those interested in baking and decorating cookies for the holidays. All Ida Marie Staff decorate a Holiday Stocking to hanging our dining room and throughout the holiday season it brings out the real artistic behaviors in our high school employees, and it’s a fun time had by all to start the holidays season.

This year we have a list of events open to all residents and staff. we start with our door decorating contest our ugly sweater contest and include staff run Secret Santa in the beginning of December.

Both Chef Chat and Chef Demo are related to food menus and Christmas treats to share with all. 

Getting my staff and resident involved in events and activates together makes for a pleasant time had by all.  We can always count on a fresh 6 inches of snow to bring out the kids in all of us as we seek to find that perfect Snow Angel on the patio outside of our dining room. last year 5 residents joined on a sunny afternoon during football games halftime.

Some of the best interaction we have with residents are spontaneous ideas talked over while sharing cocoa and cookies in the bistro every Saturday at 2:30pm
