There’s Nothing “Corny” about June at Legacy Ida Marie

June is here and the summer fun is starting to take form here at the Legacy. We kicked off our chef Demo with a batch of Caramel Puff Corn and the Residents are excited about the coming of June’s Demo of Homemade Ice Cream on June 22nd. 

Also, June marks the 10^-year anniversary of Lang Nelson Resident visit month, which is where we continue engaging our fabulous residents and all those important to them, to learn how we can better impact their experience. 

Last week we kicked off summer with the first of 6 BBQs on the Patio with live music and the attendance was great all 3 tables full of hungry residents. many others join in with ice cream treats during the concert. 

Chef Jordan and I are gearing up for a weekend corn roast as soon as our venders can get us some wonderful sweet corn. as in past years we like to keep thing hopping on the weekends with a treat on the patio on Sundays with the Twins ball game on Radio and great fellowship. 

June 15th is our Monthly Birthday bash with music, cake and Ice cream starts at 2:00 pm as always, we have a treat basket in the Bistro every day fruit, cookies, chips, and more stop in and say hi. 

June is going to be grand; we hope your here for the fun!
