Emerald Pointe resident Veronica is looking great, join her for a Zumba Dance Class!

Veronica moved here in February of 2013, but moved to the United States at the age of 18 ½ years old from Liberia. Since her move here to Emerald Pointe, she has added to her family.  Her daughter Ariel Jide has already reached the age of 2.  Veronica informed me that Ariel Jide knows Emerald Pointe as her only home and knows exactly which door belongs to her. Veronica told me that what sold her on Emerald Pointe was the floor plan of her one bedroom, the quietness, underground parking and the color green! (As in Emerald).  The staff is friendly, respectful, and shows up on time.  Veronica was referred to us from our sister site Broadway Village.

As you can see in the picture, Veronica was very proud of the before and after picture of herself. This is contributed to the fact of taking advantage of “Stretch with Jacob” program that we offer here at Emerald Pointe three times a week, watching what she was eating, sticking more to proteins, like grilling her meat and taking vitamins.  Veronica also purchased clothes that were too small for her so she had a definite goal in mind.  Veronica lost a total of 60 pounds.  She said the weight just poured off and did all of this in 3½ months.  Way to go Veronica!  
Veronica is excited to spread the word that starting October 9 she will be hosting a Zumba dance class every other Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 PM.  Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip- hop,soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo.  Squats and lunges are also included.  Hope to see you at Zumba!
