The Crossings at Brookwood is well known for, and offers a wide variety of, activities, special events, spiritual care, delicious meals, outings and more! Residents enjoy getting together daily to socialize with their neighbors and friends. All the fun we have would not be possible without the dedication of our Resident Volunteers and local Clergy!
From calling bingo, organizing lunch and dinner outings, making coffee and popcorn, leading worship service and bible study, planning special celebrations and meals, delivering fliers, setting up and cleaning up at many of our meal events, looking out for and taking care of another resident, folding the monthly newsletters for mailing, showing their beautiful apartment homes to interested future residents taking a tour, decorating our buildings for the different seasons and holidays and more; our team of dedicated resident volunteers and local clergy are the reason The Crossings at Brookwood is such an amazing place to live!
Our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was one way we could recognize, thank and honor all of our wonderful residents and local clergy with a special luncheon and awards ceremony! Thanks to the amazing culinary skills of Lil, one of our many resident volunteers, everyone was treated to a delicious meal of home-made mostaccioli, Italian salad, garlic bread and spumoni ice cream! Each volunteer was presented with a “Certificate of Appreciation” award and thanked for the special things they do as a volunteer here at The Crossings at Brookwood!
