Community Outreach
Volunteering and giving back to the community is what the Crossings does...
The Crossings at Brookwood gives back to the community! The whole staff and several residents participated in the Feed My Starving Children program. Together we packaged 13,824 meals for children in the Dominican Republic. This is estimated to feed 38 children for an entire year!
The Crossings also supported the local Evergreen world Cultures Elementary school by participating in a pen pal program with four first grade classes. Our residents exchanged letters with students and attended a Q&A session for the children to answer questions about what they remember about first grade!
We are happy to support the community and give back and always looking for opportunities to volunteer to make a difference!
