Northstar Search & Rescue Training at Cloverleaf Courts

One of the most-unique VIPs of our community is our relationship with Northstar Search & Rescue (NSAR), a non-profit search and rescue that helps search and locate missing persons in the area with their amazing team of canine helpers.  Founded in 1989, they support local law enforcement in searching for and bringing missing people home.  They operate mainly in Minnesota and Wisconsin but help wherever they are called to.  We came to know them through a resident whose family member is part of NSAR.  They recently hosted a training with a few of their pups, and a few of our residents were happy to take part in helping these heroes learn all they need to deliver successful results when in the field.

Our community is all about building relationships, both with each other inside the community, and through our staff and residents’ “circle of influence” and their connections within the community.  Last year, Cloverleaf Courts residents voted to donate $400.00 to NSAR to help with operational costs from training, food, and fuel expenses when dispatched to the field. We get to know of these connections through our resident visits, where we always come away with more knowledge of our residents than when we entered their unit for the visit.  Northstar Search & Rescue https://www.northstarsar.com/
