Cloverleaf Courts Welcomes Amanda Alms to our Community!

The history of Cloverleaf Courts and the Mary Ann Young Center (MAYC) go back decades, as our community was built by the City of Blaine, and MAYC was as well.  Over the years, we’ve had a deep connection and strong relationship with the senior center that serves so many Blaine-area seniors and offers amazing opportunities for our residents and local seniors to stay healthy, active, and educated.

After nearly 30 years as manager, our dear friend Shelley Johnson retired from MAYC.  We welcomed Amanda Alms, the new manager of MAYC, to our resident council meeting in January, and look forward all she will bring to the MAYC community and Blaine seniors.  Amanda spoke about new offerings, AARP tax help, transportation, daily meals, regular programs, new initiatives, and spending as the endowment fund can start being used in 2025, and so much more.  Amanda started the role back in late June upon Shelley’s retirement and hit the ground running.

Our manager, Jake, is a member of the MAYC Advisory Committee, and helps bring ideas from our residents to MAYC, and helps with their programming by playing music at their annual talent show.  On March 4th at 10:30am, he will present his Owls of Minnesota program to the MAYC crowd.

Are you looking for an active senior community that fosters strong relationships with local community resources and works hand in hand with the civic leaders that make life better for all?  Look no further and call us today – we have rare one and two-bedroom openings coming soon and would love to introduce you to your new neighbors and amazing local resources like MAYC.  We’re ready to show you around!
