Season of Giving at Cloverleaf Courts
Each year, our residents and staff donate to several local charities during the holiday season. The donations filled boxes through our drives December 1-13th, and the recipients were thrilled to receive them. The annual Toys 4 Tots toy drive made for a full box and was taken to our local drop location of Menards. Our box of housewares and clothing for DAV (Disabled American Veterans) was dropped at the nearby Savers, and our Hat & Mitten tree was adorned with children’s winter clothing before the drive was even completed (we had to make more room within a week) and is being taken to the local Head Start location in nearby Coon Rapids before the kids head off to winter break to play in the coming snow.
Our charitable drives go on throughout the year. Here are some of our other charitable efforts as a community: Volunteering to prep meals at Feed My Starving Children, donating nearly 200lbs of canned food to the Anoka County/Salvation Army Emergency Food Shelf, quarterly monetary donations from our faith community to Hope for Youth and Union Gospel Mission, our annual school supply drive every August, and donating canned foods to the SBM Fire Department (and Santa’s) food drive.
We have the perfect apartment for you so call us today to schedule your tour, attend an event and get to know more about our amazing, award-winning community of active and engaged seniors!
