Cloverleaf Courts’ Strong Start to the Seasons of Giving!
Our annual Fall Food Drive was a great success, running from November 1-17 and netting over just over 300 lbs. of donated food items. Donations were brought to Salvation Army Food Bank at the Anoka County Human Services building here in Blaine. This was the start of our season of giving, and it continues into December with three charitable drives for Disabled Veterans of America (DAV), Toys 4 Tots, and Head Start. The DAV box sits outside the lobby office and gets filled a few times before they come by to pick it up the week before Christmas. Toys 4 Tots drive runs the first ten days of the December and we’re already receiving toys to put in the box before December 1st. Last but not least, our “Hat & Mitten Tree” will be placed in the lobby during holiday decorating next week, and will be adorned with hats, mittens, snow gear, and more for local children.
We continue to celebrate our community inside and out, and had a wonderful Volunteer Celebration Social, Veterans Day Social, and discussed nominations for our end-of-year monetary donation to a local charity that residents will vote on at the December Resident Council Meeting.
Cloverleaf Courts is proud of our residents and their giving nature, during the holidays and throughout the year. We invite you to join our community of active seniors, find ways to get involved, and help us celebrate what makes our apartment community second-to-none. Call today to hear about our upcoming availability or take a tour – we’d love to show you around!
