Creekside Gables receives a prestigious Award nomination! Congratulations!

Creekside Gables has been nominated for two 2015 MADACS Awards. The prestigious award is presented by The Minnesota Multi Housing Association and is awarded in recognition to those who have made significant contributions to the multi housing market through exemplary achievements.

The more exciting of the two nominations was in the category of Community Outreach. Residents of Creekside Gables spent hundreds of hours hand creating over 150 pillows for Gillette Children’s Hospital in Saint Paul. The pillows were cut from various children’s fabrics that were then sewn and stuffed. The pillows when completed were then personally delivered to the hospital by residents from Creekside Gables. Staff members from the hospital put smiles on the faces of the children when they handed the pillows out to the children staying at the hospital. 

Creekside Gables residents continue to wow the community with many kind acts of giving. Creekside Gables is transported numerous times throughout the year by Lang Nelson Senior Transportation to “Feed My Starving Children” in Coon Rapids where the resident’s package food that helps feed starving children throughout the world. Currently we are in the process of heading up a group to help collect personal items and gifts that will put smiles on the faces of our troops. The items will then be packaged and sent to a distribution to then be sent overseas to the troops.
