More Than a Taco Tuesday at Broadway Village!
New Hope Police Department hosted a wonderful Lunch & Coat Drive at Broadway Village this past Tuesday. Residents brought their gently used winter coats and enjoyed tacos made by NHPD and staff - many engaging conversations were had over a delicious meal! In case you didn’t know, this lovely event was inspired by one of the Minnesota Twins, baseball player, Justin Morneau! As Minnesotans we all know how harsh and cold our winters can be, which is why Justin created this coat drive as a way to ensure people have a winter coat to stay warm. I’m so happy to say we collected over 30 winter coats!
