Come Dance with Us at Broadway Village
This week we had the privilege of having Tiyumba African Drum & Dance Company visit Broadway Village! Tiyumba, which means “let’s love them” in the native Dagbani language of Ghana, is a multicultural performance group located in the Twin Cities. Their members are from: Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and the U.S. They performed multiple dances in our lovely community room filled with over 50 residents! Towards the end residents and their guests were invited up front to dance with them, it was a such a fun time!
