Pine Tree Apple Orchard Delivers Delight to Blaine Courts Residents

As we head into baking season, the holidays, and start reflecting on the year that was 2024, residents of Blaine Courts recently visited an annual Fall Favorite – Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake.  They were roaming through the orchard, sampling prime-season apples, tasting cider, and buying up pie supplies on a lovely Saturday in October.

The first apple trees were planted at Pine Tree Apple Orchard in 1904 by a young St. Paul man named Art Jacobson.  Originally 25 acres, it has grown over the last 120 years to cover 300+ acres and is still in the Jacobson family.  Although apples are the main produce grown, they’ve included other produce and fall-themed fun with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and hayrides.  If you’re looking to add a new orchard to your fall family fun, plan a trip to Pine Tree Apple Orchard, and tell them residents of Blaine Courts sent you!  Their season opens in late August, and they have a limited strawberry-picking season from mid-June to July.
