Blaine Courts Partners with SBM Fire Dept. to Promote Safety & Wellness
In May, the Spring Lake Park/Blaine/Moundsview Fire Department (https://sbmfire.org/about/) will host a safety and wellness chat with our residents. As they just did at our sister site, Cloverleaf Courts, they will discuss the uniquely fire-safe way our building was built by the City of Blaine – with fire sprinkler systems throughout the building, but also in each apartment – and the emergency procedures we use that they helped create. Keeping our residents educated on what to do in the event of a fire emergency is important to us, and what better way to educate than to have in-person safety chats with those who “wrote the book” on it!
The SBM Fire Department operates out of four stations in Spring Lake Park and Blaine, Minnesota, and provide fire-rescue response and fire prevention education to the public. SBM Fire Department is a proud and trusted partner with Blaine Courts, and many times, they are the first to respond when someone has a medical emergency in their apartment. They also visit us every Night To Unite (first Tuesday in August) and promote safety and wellness fairs to county residents every spring.
