Supporting our Veterans at the Arbors!
We hold a monthly Veterans Breakfast here at The Arbors of White Bear Lake. We normally serve a light breakfast with pastries, breads, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. This month however, we surprised our Veterans with scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, sausages, fruit, orange juice and coffee. It was a nice treat and of course, well deserved.
We occasionally have guest speakers at the monthly breakfast. A frequent guest who also visited with us this week is The Ramsey County Veterans Affairs Officer, Alex. She is very knowledgeable and has assisted many of our residents and spouses of Veterans apply for benefits that they were unaware of. She will help complete any necessary paperwork, see to it that it gets processed and follows up with our residents. We appreciate and are grateful to all who have served, are serving and their families!
