Holiday Festivities at the Arbors
The Arbors’ December calendar was jam-packed with activities sure to please even the Grinch! From the beginning of the month to the end, our residents had no shortage of holiday cheer to get them in the mood for Christmas.
We began our December journey with Live Christmas Music by Jo Bolles, and then an appetizer and Christmas Carol event with music by Patrick Allen. We also had a weekly Secret Santa gift exchange. We watched a couple of Christmas movies with snacks including freshly popped popcorn from our local, Kowalski’s owned Cub Foods. We had our traditional holiday potluck and ugly sweater contest. We had a hot cocoa bar and a hot cider with cookies event. We strolled the halls together during our Sip and Stroll event to enjoy the festive holiday decorations that adorned each door, down every hall, in both buildings. We had a fun Christmas party with a pizza lunch, games and of course, prizes. And our festivities finale was on New Year’s Eve with potluck appetizers and music to usher in 2024!
