The Joys of Christmas at Anthony James

There are several joys I think about at this time of the year. The joy of families gathering, the love and joy of parents as they watch their children’s wonder of the Christmas Lights, and presents.

We’ve all heard the phrase “It’s better to give than to receive”. This is a proverb that means giving to others can lead to more Joy, Blessings, and Happiness than receiving. People will tell you that giving evokes a warm feeling inside. It does more than gives you a warm feeling…

Giving can have positive effects on our health. It can lower your blood pressure, reduce stress, reduce pain, and increase euphoria. Giving can help you cultivate virtues like compassion, kindness, joy, and love. We invite you to visit with our residents and staff during this season as we give to others in need.
