A Celebration of Thanks at Twin Lake North!
Twin Lake North residents found some impressive ways to give in the month of November and we want to celebrate that! Thank you to all who attended our Thanksgiving Dinner and a huge thanks to our resident caterer Valerie R.
Residents and guests loved the mix of traditional Thanksgiving food with some southern favorites like cornbread dressing, greens, and sweet potato pie. Cornerstone Church volunteers ensured that the residents were able to sit back and relax at the event. We are so thankful for their service.
As a community, we raised over $100 for Cornerstone’s partnership with La Patria in Honduras. We also filled our CEAP food shelf donation bin to the top! The food that we packed for Feed my Starving Children has arrived at its destination in Nicaragua as well.
The giving will continue through this month as we fill our Toys for Tots bin, our hat and mitten tree, and yes, more food for CEAP! We are disappointed to say that Glorious Grace Church is unable to host a Toys for Tots distribution at Twin Lake North this year, so if you or someone you know would like information on where to sign-up for the nearest location, please contact Erin; 763-533-1168.
