Cedarwood Thanks the Crystal Community Center
We at Cedarwood remain grateful for our relationship with the Crystal Community Center, our neighbor just a mile down the road. This relationship has resulted in classes, events, and community between Crystal and Cedarwood. In the past we have been happy to share our Community Room with them as they hosted cooking classes. And who can forget the amazing African Drumming and Dance event will forget that the Community Center hosted in Cedarwood’s backyard.
The Crystal Community Center provides meeting and banquet facilities for groups up to 400 people. In addition, they host many wonderful programs and activities for people of all ages. With COVID-19 slowing down the allowed traffic, we are flattered that they thought of us when some of their events were canceled in the past few months. This summer they donated tennis balls and to the children of Cedarwood to encourage learning a new game. Most recently they were scheduled to host a coloring event for their Winterfest, but instead donated all of their supplies to Cedarwood residents. The donation was appreciated by the children at Cedarwood…and of the course the parents as well!
