The Arbors - A Harvest of Fun!
Fall is best known for pumpkins, colorful leaves, and all things harvest themed. We are making sure that our residents get their fair share of harvest fun this month with games and activities centered around this beautiful time of year.
We started out our fall festivities on the first day of fall, September 22nd, with Hot Apple Cider. Then in October, we will continue with Pumpkin Painting and a Halloween Door Decorating Contest. We are always blown away by all of the artistic talent of our residents! And what would Halloween be without a scary (and funny) movie along with some candy? We will be watching the movie Hocus Pocus and tasting a variety of different sugary treats at one of our Tasting Parties later in the week. Our usual Witches Brew will take on a different look this year due to COVID restrictions. Instead of having our residents cook up their favorite soups to share, we are looking forward to a prepared and delivered Soup Dinner from Keys Restaurant.
While we are missing some of our normal Halloween celebrations this year, we are making up for it many times over with decorations galore and new weekly offerings to celebrate this harvest season.
