New Hope’s annual summer celebration includes a variety of fun activities for the whole family. Most activities are free. Recently there was a carnival, bingo, Minnesota Timberwolves Basketball Shoot-Out, pizza eating contest, fabulous fair food, live music, kiddie parade, group sport tournaments, and fireworks.
The New Hope Community Farmers Market was founded in October 2009 to provide locally grown and produced foods and merchandise in a vibrant open-air market. New Hope’s market is the only Saturday farmers market in the northwest suburbs. This market offers a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, foodstuff, arts and crafts, entertainment, community groups, and more.
